Not Again.

I woke up to the news that the Columbia space shuttle had broken up over Texas with the same gut-dropping feel that I've felt far too often in my lifetime. Dan's call woke me up with the bad news, and my father's call followed in five minutes.

I think we have seen far too much bad news this past decade, and it's discouraging to see the symbol of human hope and achievement to be hit by disaster, again.

My condolensces go to the families of the crew.
