The Unwritten Girl's Ottawa Launch Confirmed

Crossposted to the Unwritten Blog:

It looks like I’ll be visiting our nation’s capital and doing a launch party, thanks to interest from a number of Ottawa bloggers who say they can help get people out to the event. The host, Books on Beechwood have also been extremely welcoming, offering up their space for Saturday, June 3 at 3 p.m. Checking out their website, it’s clear that this independent bookstore is run by people who love books, especially children’s books, and who have a beautiful looking store in a beautiful area of Ottawa. This makes them precisely the sort of people I need to get on the good side of.

Books on Beechwood is at 35 Beechwood Avenue on the east side of Rideau River, just off of the St. Patrick Street bridge. I believe the bookstore can be reached by route 1 and route 7 on OC Transpo.

I am looking forward to visiting Ottawa on an early June weekend. That’s probably one of the best times to visit this beautiful city, and if you’re in Ottawa and reading this, I’m looking forward to seeing you at the event.
