Earlier this evening, Erin took Vivian and Nora out to Kitchener’s Mount Trashmore and captured this photograph of Venus and Jupiter approaching a rare conjunction.

It’s never too early to introduce the kids to astronomy, I say. The kids had a good time, and a memorable experience.

I stayed home, did the dishes, cleaned the kitchen, and started work preparing our taxes.

Far less glamourous, and I did miss the kids, but I know that I’ll appreciate bringing them home to a clean kitchen tomorrow.
