They are promising a rather wild day in terms of the weather, today. A classic arrangement of warm air from Texas colliding with an Arctic cold front means gusting winds and lots of snow. Why does this have to happen on a weekend?
Then again, would I rather face this during rush hour? Don't think so. Everybody at work was keeping their eye on this storm yesterday, suggesting that perhaps today would be a good day to cucoon, rent a couple of movies, buy some soup, and kick back. Saturday is the better day for that.
I won't be cucooning, though. Welwyn Wilton-Katz is hosting a workshop on writing fantasy today at the neighbourhood library and I'm going, come hell or high water. Or even high snow...
