Merry Christmas 2004

Posted on by

I am writing this from Lincoln, NE. The weather here is warmer, now, with temperatures close to freezing. Des Moines had just about enough snow on the ground to qualify for a white Christmas. The western end of Iowa and the eastern part of Nebraska is tinder dry, however. It’s starkly beautiful, especially under the prairie sun, but it’s unnatural. I’m guessing if these guys don’t get substantial snow cover, their spring opens on a drought.

A quick note to Greg, who called our voice mail earlier today: we’re sorry we missed your call, but thank you for the holiday wishes. Merry Christmas to you and your family and all the best for 2005.

And that wish extends to all of my readers. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
