The latest Doctor Who special, Planet of the Dead, debuted this past Saturday on Space. Did you see it? What did you think? Comments are still open on my review, so come share your thoughts!
A quick update today. It’s been busy here.
Even though we’re in Lincoln, Nebraska, I have to knuckle down on this trip. I’ve been fortunate enough to have landed more commissions for a series of science books for readers aged 8 to 12. This is excellent timing, since the commission came just as I finished the draft of The Night Girl. The only catch is that I have less than two weeks to push out almost 4,000 words. Per book. This should cover me for the length of August.
It should be a lot of fun, as well as quite a challenge. I’m about halfway through the first book.
Vivian’s enjoying herself at Lincoln. Here are some photographs of her playing in a playground just down the street.
Climbing up a slide. Why is it that kids always enjoy doing this? | |
Swinging! | |
And, earlier in Des Moines, wearing a Cinderella costume that we picked up for ten dollars. |
And be sure to check out Baby Nora Walking.
