As I’ve mentioned before, the latest Doctor Who special, The Waters of Mars is set to debut this Sunday at 7 p.m. on BBC1. We now have a Canadian date as well: for those of you who don’t want to download right away, Space will premier this special on Saturday, December 19 at 9 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.
In other news, we now have our kitchen countertops. The installers from KW Countertops came over this morning and put everything together. I was a little disappointed that they wouldn’t connect our kitchen and bathroom sinks back when they were done (liability issues, apparently), but otherwise they did an excellent job. And that afternoon, I had an opportunity to learn a little plumbing as I made about three trips to the local hardware store to get all the parts I need. I’m pleased to say that my work is now watertight, and yes, I learned from experience.
A short post today as things are still quite busy here, but I have more things to say this week, and hope to post more tomorrow.
