Promotional work for Plain Kate has taken us far afield, to New York City and to Washington DC as well as to Toronto, and it may take us farther afield in the near future. However, we’re pleased to announce that Erin will be spending time right here at home, thanks to the kind invitation of the good folks at Words Worth Books in uptown Waterloo.
This afternoon, Saturday, October 23 at 2:30 p.m., Erin will be reading from Plain Kate and signing copies. Friends, family and associated well wishers are encouraged to come out and say hello. Words Worth is a fantastic independent bookstore that has been keeping the faith in uptown Waterloo for years, and they deserve your support as well. They are located at 100 King Street South, roughly halfway between William Street and Willis Way, near Whole Lotta Gelatto.
In addition to this, next week on Saturday, October 30, Kenneth Oppel will be dropping by, I hear, to promote his latest novel, Half Brother. Thanks again to the good people at Words Worth Books for bringing some of the best authors to Waterloo Region, and also for making us feel very welcome.
