This picture was taken earlier this afternoon, of a school playground that Wendell and I took the kids to (Vivian, Nora and two of Judy’s grandkids, Alex and Nicholas). The temperature was a balmy 15’C, but boy was it windy. We could actually smell the ground thawing. It smelt like spring, and I knew I was going to miss that smell until March. On the way back, we saw robins in the trees. Robins!
Now, as I write this, the temperature is -11’C and falling. Snow is expected tomorrow.
Hopefully, all will be clear for when we start back on the road on Saturday. Wish us luck.
