Don't Forget: Doctor Who Debuts in Canada at 8 p.m. EDT Today...

A bit of a busy day today. It’s beautiful outside; you can stand around without a coat, so of course the kids are playing in the playground. It’s really a good day to be alive. And, better yet, the new season of Doctor Who debuts tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern time on Space. I’ve so far managed to avoid spoilers, and I won’t offer any here, but if the reaction from the previews and on Twitter is anything to go by, we are in for a treat. I’ve just bought my season pass off of iTunes.

The Impossible Astronaut is part one of a two part story, and my policy has been to hold off on the reviews until both parts air, so look for my review of this story a week from Monday.

In the meantime, I have some web site work to do and dinner to prepare, and once we get the kids to bed, I’m going to settle down and watch this thing.

In the meantime, here’s some music. You already know that I like the music of Basia Bulat. Here’s them live in studio singing the first song of her second album, “Go On”:

(Update: 11:41 p.m.): Wow. I want to reserve judgement until I see part two, but I just have to say, here and now, that was a ten!
