This is the first Christmas in a while which we’ve spent at home in Kitchener, now that Michael and Rosemarie have made landing and now reside in the same city as us. So we had a Christmas feast in our home, inviting Michael and Rosemarie as well as my parents, Pat and Eric. A great time was had by all. It feels good to have good food and good company.
The holiday did kind of sneak up on me this year. I knew it was coming, but there’s been a whirlwind of other things we’ve had to deal with, some of which I won’t get into just yet for fear of jinxing things. There’s been edits that needed doing, presents to buy, food to organize, a house to clean, several times, and none of it could have been done (with our sanity retained) without the help and support of countless friends and family. So, thank you, all. You know who you are.
And I’d also like to thank my loyal readers (and, if you’re still reading this, given my slow pace of posts, you’re definitely a loyal reader). Next year promises to be interesting, with trips to take, things to promote, as well as birthdays to celebrate and other work to do. I hope you’ll stick with me, as I stick with you here.
