We won’t be having a white Easter, but we started out having a sparkling one. Thursday brought us our first snow day of the year as an ice storm swept through southern Ontario. We didn’t get it that bad, though some branches are down in the area. The power went out overnight for about twenty minutes, but that’s nothing compared to areas north of here, like Fergus, where the ice was thicker, and power was out for twenty-four hours or more.
The temperature is steadily warming up, and promises to hit 15’C on Easter Sunday. Friday saw sunshine and blue sky, and the ice-covered branches looked like crystal chandeliers as the sun shone through them.
The kids are enjoying their five-day weekend, as are we. It helps to have a dog to train.
